Commissioning Ceremony for 2025 Student Leaders

It was a special day for our Student Leaders for 2025 as the College community gathered for their commissioning and they stepped into the Trinity history books.

The 15 Year 11 students were selected for their positions with a thorough process that takes into account their commitment to the Trinity Difference and celebrates their outstanding service.

The special event commenced with a tribute to the rich heritage of Trinity College and the servant leadership that is at the heart of our mission and values.

Father Michael blessed the badges of leadership before the outgoing captains presented them to their 2025 counterparts.

Principal Mr Paul Clohesy spoke of the attributes of leadership, asking next year’s leaders to promise that they will reflect the spirit of Catherine McAuley and Edmund Rice in serving others through hospitality, mercy, justice and compassion for all.

The 2024 College Captains, Paige and Brady, then addressed the student body for the final time before our newly appointed Captains, Olivia and Kane, were invited to the lectern to formally commence their leadership roles.

Parents, staff, special guests and the 2024 and 2025 leaders were then invited to a morning tea to celebrate the occasion and provide an opportunity for guests to get to know the new captains.

Congratulations to 2025 College Captains Kane and Olivia, and to our Vice Captains Oscar and Jen. Congratulations also to the incoming College Prefects Henry, Charlie, Caitlin, Lily and Bailee; the eight House Captains Toby and Sienna in MacKillop, Jack and Taya for McAuley, Johnny and Bridie for Rice, and Jed and Lily in Glowrey, and our Performing Arts Captains Logan and Bridget.
