Coastal Cricket Wins for Juniors
What a great day for cricket! Our Year 7 and 8 cricket teams had a successful day against CSC in the SSV Coastal Cricket competition, with all our teams claiming victory.
Our Year 8 girls had a fantastic game, snatching several wickets and batting well. Their enthusiasm and support for each other reflected the final score of TCC 156 to CSC 82.
Their Year 7 counterparts had a nail-biting match against some strong bowling and batting from CSC but the exciting finish had Trinity taking it home by only seven runs.
The Year 7 boys’ team had a lot of fun on the pitch, finishing the day with a very respectable 86 to 55. And then the Year 8 boys topped off the string of wins with TCC on 4/120 defeating CSC 7/76. Top scorers were Seb Cooknell (30 runs), Will Darcy (22 runs) and Sam Alexander (20 runs). Wickets were shared with six bowlers picking up a wicket.
