Welcome to Trinity! We are thrilled to have the Class of 2031 join us and look forward to sharing this journey with you.

To support our College families during this exciting time, we have planned several events designed to help our Year 7 students and parents to become acquainted with Trinity and start forming the strong bonds that will carry us through the coming years together.

House Allocations

An email informing our Year 7 students which House they have been allocated to is sent out towards the end of Term 3.

Uniform Fittings

After Houses have been allocated, students are invited to book an appointment with Borne Apparel for their uniform fittings, which takes place during from the end of September until mid-October.

All uniform items are purchased from Borne Apparel. Further information about College Uniforms can be found here.

Year 7 Booklist

Booklists will be sent out to families in November.

Orientation Day

Tuesday 9 December 2025

Orientation Day provides a wonderful opportunity for students to connect with many of their teachers for next year. Students will experience a full day of activities and and classes from 8:45am to 3:30pm. More information will be emailed closer to the day.

First Day at Trinity

Thursday 30 January 2026

All students should arrive for their first day by 8:45am in their correct uniform. They should make their way to the Mercy area where Trinity staff will be on hand to welcome students. This area will be pointed out during Orientation Day.

More information will be sent to families closer to the day.

Computer Collection

Year 7 students will be instructed to collect their computers during the first day of school in 2026.

Year 7 Camp

4 – 6 February 2026

As part of our transition program, Year 7 students in 2026 will be attending an outdoor activity program at Kangaroobie, near Princetown early in Term 1. The camp is beneficial to each of our Year 7 students to assist them in connection and getting to know each other better.

Activities that the students will have a chance to participate in at Kangaroobie will be canoeing, low ropes course, obstacle course, eco-game and beach activities. On the Friday, students will leave Kangaroobie and travel by bus to the Twelve Apostles for lunch before returning to Trinity College for dismissal at 3:20pm.

Further information will be provided to parents closer to the event.

Students are asked to bring the following items to camp:

  • Sleeping bag
  • Pillow
  • Pillow case
  • Shoes that can get wet and muddy (canoeing, obstacle course – not thongs)
  • Shoes for other activities (low ropes, eco-system game)
  • Shorts and T-Shirt (that can get wet and muddy)
  • 1 x Bathers
  • 1 x Rashie (for all water activities)
  • 1 x Pants
  • 6 x Underwear
  • 4 x T-Shirts
  • 3 x Shorts
  • 4 x Socks
  • 2 x Jumper
  • 1 x Pyjamas
  • Toiletries (toothbrush, tooth paste, brush, soap, etc.)
  • Towel
  • Sunscreen (if you prefer to use your own)
  • Hat
  • Drink bottle
  • Plastic bags for wet / dirty clothes
  • Roll on insect repellent
  • Torch
  • Packed lunch and snacks for the first day of camp

Year 7 Parent Information Evening

Monday 16 February 2026

The Year 7 Parent Information Evening provides general information regarding Trinity College administrative matters and various activities planned for the Year 7 students throughout the year.

After the presentation, families will meet in students’ homerooms in the Year 7 area for further discussions and activities with staff and students.
